I will know failure

Because I am brave in my life. Daring to do things guarantees failure, and without knowing failure, there is no real success. Without vulnerability, without getting uncomfortable, there is no courage nor true joy.

To paraphrase Brene Brown, “There are millions of cheap seats in the world filled with people who will never once put themselves in the arena. But they will make it their full time job to hurt us. Just let it fall to the ground. Don’t kick it or feed it. Just keep going.”

There are great teachers out there. I choose to listen to them over the ones that bait me back into the comfort zone where I end up boxed in existential crisis. How I feel when this happens.

So I will know failure. Because I am brave.
